We have taken great care to design Zing! to do insights differently. We believe that research should be a collaborative and flexible process rather than just a ‘one size fits all’ approach. It should never get in the way; rather it should be a motivating and enriching part of the decisions we make.
Zing! works tirelessly to deliver high quality and actionable insights. We love rolling up our sleeves to help re-frame the information needs of our partners and tailor a program of insights that best meets their needs. The approaches we use aren’t rocket science, but are genuinely tailored and purposeful.
We have extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative techniques and often work with multiple techniques on the same project. Our philosophy of working with our clients as part of their team means a focus on service and relationships rather than just a market research project in isolation.

We are very experienced in creative concept development and optimisation. We understand how the creative and strategy process works, and have worked seamlessly with agencies and clients as a collaborative team to create amazing campaigns.
BRAND/AD TRACKING.
We are experienced at testing and tracking advertising. We believe that ad tracking should always be bespoke and kept as simple as possible. We don’t include metrics ‘just for the sake of it’, but put careful thought into the needs and priorities of the brands we work with.
CORPORATE STAKEHOLDERS.
We don’t only talk to consumers, but have built a specialisation in talking to our clients’ corporate partners and stakeholders. We have spoken to Government ministers, CEOs, CFOs and boards, and know how to approach these audiences.
PRODUCT INNOVATION & OPTIMISATION.
Zing! has experience in testing our clients’ new product innovation concepts, particularly in the FMCG space. We know the right questions to ask and how to evaluate the potential opportunity for new product concepts.

PROCESS:
INTRODUCTION:
Our preference is always to deliver a pre-project workshop with our clients, where we review and reframe their business objectives into potential insights solutions. We like to start with the answer and work backwards from there, ensuring the research processes and approaches we use get us to where we need to be.
We like to ensure all stakeholders in our client organisations are engaged with the research process, and invite them to take ownership over the insights we deliver. We know that this helps maximise the utility of our reports and can smooth the path for decision-making and implementation of solutions.
RESEARCH:
We offer a full range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to help solve our clients’ problems, ranging from exploratory creative qualitative approaches through to higher-level statistical analysis.
We know there are ‘standard ways of doing things’ when it comes to designing research questions, but we don’t blindly follow what others are doing. We are strong in our commitment to asking better questions – better for research participants and better for client problems. Either way, our research development is always collaborative – we are open and invite our clients to get involved.
When it comes to reporting and analysis, we carefully design and curate our reports, as we feel that research lives and dies by how it is communicated. We like to keep our reports concise and focused, and use a storytelling style to ensure that our reports can be read and understood by all client stakeholders.

DEBRIEFING:
We know how important it is for your various internal stakeholder groups to hear about research findings first-hand from the researcher. That’s why we are always happy to deliver as many debrief presentations as our clients need.
